As a second year student out on a year in industry, choosing what kind of job to have can be hard (and finding it even harder).
For the last few months I have been "Interning" with Elastacloud. That said, far as everyone here is concerned I'm a fully fledged member of the team. I've had the opportunity and continue to work as a key member on real world projects. Since starting I have learned a lot and still have a lot to learn (especially compared to colleagues with years of experience) but since half the time we are using new technologies we are all in the same boat.

Thus far, working with the team has been a great experience. There's a fun start-up feel, draft beer in the office, Friday cocktails and all the other fun stuff we get up to after work. But we are also working on projects with `real` scope for `real` clients.
